It starts out with a simple interface, counting up candies and allowing the player to eat them, and quickly expands into a well designed and complex game with a wide range of elements.CandyCandy is the main resource of the game and starts out by gathering automatically at a rate of 1 per second. The player initially has the option of eating the candy, but is soon offered to throw the candy on the ground. They will, however, eventually break through. Goblins can be manually killed by clicking them early game. The wall can be upgraded as the game progresses to increase the amount of damage it can handle.Mages provide an automated system to take care of defenses. They automatically attack goblins as they approach and can be purchased in high numbers. They reside within the wall to keep them safe as they attack from a distance.Bear traps prevent the goblins from approaching at all. They are timed, providing a short amount of protection.WorkersThere are a number of workers available to purchase, and each provides an automatic income of gold. They quickly become more and more expensive, making the later ones more efficient for their cost.In addition, there are workers that provide other effects. The mage, as above, kills goblins as they approach, while the craftsman ensure that any damage to the walls are mended.

ClickerVery basic mobile-only (android) clicker game with very linear gameplay. Could be fun for a few minutes, but gets boring very very quickly. Each upgrade is limited (5 level ups max), most of the time you'll have only 1 option to upgrade, the other options are locked until you upgrade your harbor (which you can only do after you max out the other upgrades). So you don't have a lot of exciting stuff to do, and the game is too predictable.The game does feature nice graphics and interesting harbor theme, but these are mostly the only pros of the Harbor Tycoon Clicker.The game interface is a bit unresponsive at times (you have to tap upgrade buttons multiple times before it finally registers your tap). But the clicking part is actually fun and quite responsive. It has nice visuals, and when you use 5 fingers to tap it looks and feels pretty good.Overall, a very boring clicker game with very limited upgrades and very linear gameplay. If you do like the harbor theme, you can try playing it since its free anyway, but you'll probably find this game a waste of your time.
