The player is required to hire workers to gather resource and meet specific goals for each location.ExpandingOnce a location has been completed, a new location will be opened up, with new requiresments to complete it. Finally, once a location has enough of a particular size, it will expand into a larger type. Enough hamlets, for example, will become a village. Enough villages, and it will expand into a town. This pattern continues as the player progresses.It should be noted that once a village has been unlocked, a second village will appear beneath it, with a hamlet contained inside of it. The hamlets for this new village must be completed before the villages can then be combined into a town. This pattern continues.Resources and UpgradesThere are a number of resources available, limited to the type of location that the player is working in. These resources can only be gained from their associated location. They can be spent on upgrading a number of things, again associated with the appropriate location type. Upgrades can reward with free workers every X seconds, or even apply a modifier to a new location. Civ Builder, ClickerThe successor to the original Parameters game, Heiankyo Parameters adds a few new features to the game.TerritoryOccupying territory is done by clicking and holding the mouse button over an empty or semi-occupied territory. Territories have a number of different levels of occupation, each providing a different quantity of cash once completed. Each territory also provides automatic income at regular intervals once it has been obtained.Yellow territories are occupied by aliens and must first be cleared before they can be built upon. Each of these combat situations takes into account the player's attack and defense values and with each click, runs a combat simulation. If the player's health reaches 0, attack, defense, and recover are temporarily reduced to 0. The player must wait for these to return before attacking again. Once an enemy has been attacked, their health will regenerate over time.CashCash is rewarded with each time an unoccupied territory is levelled up, and a smaller amount at regular intervals thereafter. Cash can be spent on buying upgrades that affect attack strength and defense level.LevellingThis is done automatically when the player collects enough XP. Once a level has been achieved, the player receives points that can be spent on attributes. The attributes are assigned at the right of the screen using the + buttons next to the three lines. The five available are Life, Attack, Defense, Recovery, and Cost.Action PointsActions can only be performed when the player has enough points to spend on performing them. These can be seen in the purple bar on the right of the screen. Each action takes a number of points to perform, and these points are returned at a rate determined by the recovery score of the player.

ClickerVery basic mobile-only (android) clicker game with very linear gameplay. Could be fun for a few minutes, but gets boring very very quickly. Each upgrade is limited (5 level ups max), most of the time you'll have only 1 option to upgrade, the other options are locked until you upgrade your harbor (which you can only do after you max out the other upgrades). So you don't have a lot of exciting stuff to do, and the game is too predictable.The game does feature nice graphics and interesting harbor theme, but these are mostly the only pros of the Harbor Tycoon Clicker.The game interface is a bit unresponsive at times (you have to tap upgrade buttons multiple times before it finally registers your tap). But the clicking part is actually fun and quite responsive. It has nice visuals, and when you use 5 fingers to tap it looks and feels pretty good.Overall, a very boring clicker game with very limited upgrades and very linear gameplay. If you do like the harbor theme, you can try playing it since its free anyway, but you'll probably find this game a waste of your time.
