You start as a simple miner armed with a stick and build your way up to elaborate tools, magical allies, and more.DefensesThere are three methods of defense against the incoming hordes of goblins.WallsMagesBear TrapsWalls are the simplest defense, and are use to simply keep the goblins at bay. They will, however, eventually break through. Goblins can be manually killed by clicking them early game. The wall can be upgraded as the game progresses to increase the amount of damage it can handle.Mages provide an automated system to take care of defenses. They automatically attack goblins as they approach and can be purchased in high numbers. They reside within the wall to keep them safe as they attack from a distance.Bear traps prevent the goblins from approaching at all. They are timed, providing a short amount of protection.WorkersThere are a number of workers available to purchase, and each provides an automatic income of gold. They quickly become more and more expensive, making the later ones more efficient for their cost.In addition, there are workers that provide other effects. At first you click gifts and upgrade how many gifts you get per click, but quickly you start buying snowmen for gifts, who in turn produce gifts automatically.While the gameplay is not anything new, similar to clickers heroes and a lot of the other games, the balance is what makes this game stand out. Unlike most of the other idle games, where only the last "unit" is worth upgrading, in Gifts Clicker the "best" unit changes a lot (at first being the last one, but then going back to the first one and moving back and forth), thanks to "super" upgrade at each 250th level, and double upgrade every 10 levels, which makes the game exciting for a long time.The only drawback of the game is bad english translation, but most things are obvious without any text anyway, so this shouldn't stop you from enjoying the game.Recommended!
