It doesn't seem to be finished as the reset basically doesn't give you anything useful, so once you reach modern age, that's basically it. Although technically the game is not over, there is nothing else left to upgrade or discover in the game.

It is up to the player to decide when and how to spend experience, upgrade an adventurer's equipment, and more.As adventurers gather experience, it can be spent on levelling up the adventurer. Each item in turn can only be applied to a single adventurer, meaning an item that might be good for one character, cannot be used by another.
