Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. The game requires you to fire snowballs at objects at increasing distances with increasing amounts of health. Each destroyed object provides money that can then be spent on upgrading the cannon. The cannon can either be fired manually by clicking or, once the upgrade is purchased, automatically. The game requires the player to aim the cannon, and once set, the autofire continues to fire at the same angle as the last player initiated shot.ResearchThe player is awarded research points by performing simple tasks in the game.
