It's a seemingly simple design that provides a lasting game experience with a detailed prestige system to enable it to be replayed.MechanicsSeveral mechanics are at play here, most notably the affect of buildings buying buildings. This system takes the first layer of buildings, referred to as "Tier 1", and allows them to be created automatically by the second, "Tier 2". These are in turn created automatically by the third "Tier 3" and so on. Save the Earth

Clicker, IdlerMouse over aliens to kill them and gain resources/xp. With each successive kill, your resouces/xp per kill rises, giving an incentive to manuall kill aliens. Resources can be spent on purchasing military units to automatically kill aliens for you. Once enough xp has been gained, the player levels up and is rewarded with research points. These can be spent on upgrades to improve the resources per second that military units provide amongst other things.
