Golden Miner is a game where you are supposed to click the mine, to get gold. Gold can be used to get upgrades so you can get more gold without clicking the mine. It can also be used for buying other stuff. Diamonds can be used to the same.

ResearchResearching is completed by the queen once it is available. The queen must be set to research specific upgrades one at a time. Once they have been researched, they need to be manually activated before their effects are applied.EvolutionThis is a staging mechanic that allows you to progress through the game in set stages. Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. New upgrades become available, new options in the forge become available, and the missed secrets from the last level are lost and replaced with those of the new level. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. Once a stage has been passed, the secrets from that stage can no longer be found, thus the achievements attached to them are lost until the game is prestiged and the stage once again attained.LaboratoryThe laboratory can be used to gamble bots in the hope of achieving free bots in return. This works similar to a slot machine, and has a fairly balanced return rate. The game provides a number of mechanics for the player to expand their wealth and the size of their corporation, though requires some level of strategy to successfully move up the corporate ladder.ResourcesThere are 3 resources available: Money, Tickets, and Reputation. These resources work together to allow the player to do a number of things. Money and tickets can be produced by clicking, while reputation needs to be produced.Money is the currency of the game. It allows the player to hire new staff, pay the staff [not implemented], purchase new office spaces, pay bills [not implemented], taxes [not implemented], and more. Some workers can be used to produce money automatically, while the player has the option of manually clicking to gather more.Tickets are produced from companies that have been contracted. Each company will produce support tickets that can then be solved by your tech support staff. Each ticket resolved will provide reputation.Reputation is important for prestiging. The ability to close a company down and start fresh, when combined with reputation, will provide the player a boost to whichever level of staff they choose to spend the points on. Reputation can also be spent on reducing the one time cost of new office space.OfficesThe player starts off with a single office with support for a few staff. This is the beginning of the player's corporation, and must gradually be expanded. Real estate is always available, and the pricing and sizing will vary. To begin with, the player will only be permitted to purchase a single office, but with the purchase of franchise licenses, they have the ability to expand, providing more offices for more staff and more income.CompaniesThe player has the option of marketing towards companies and taking them onboard. Each company will produce support tickets, which must be resolved in exchange for reputation. If tickets take too long to process, a company may start to get upset with the player and eventually cancel the contract, ending the income and ticket production [not implemented].UpgradesUpgrades are available for just about every aspect of the game, from improving production to increasing the real estate market [not implemented] and improving the player's current level.LevelsAt the beginning of the game, the player is on level 0. This is the level of their company. At level 0, they have the option of hiring level 0 staff.
