The player is required to hire workers to gather resource and meet specific goals for each location.ExpandingOnce a location has been completed, a new location will be opened up, with new requiresments to complete it. Finally, once a location has enough of a particular size, it will expand into a larger type. Enough hamlets, for example, will become a village. Enough villages, and it will expand into a town. This pattern continues as the player progresses.It should be noted that once a village has been unlocked, a second village will appear beneath it, with a hamlet contained inside of it. The hamlets for this new village must be completed before the villages can then be combined into a town. This pattern continues.Resources and UpgradesThere are a number of resources available, limited to the type of location that the player is working in. You are required to create Bots, buy Factories, grow your Queen, perform Research, forge Implants, find Treasures, Evolve, and Prestige. Transcendence at stage 14 will bring a wormhole delivering free factories.Bots and FactoriesBots are the main currency of the game and, as with most incrementals, can be gathered manually or automatically through the construction of buildings. Buildings can provide a number of changes to bots, from giving more per manual click to more per automated click.The factories are just as important, providing a way to automate the process entirely. They will provide an income of bots, which can then be used to improve other aspects of the game.The QueenThe queen is important to gameplay in that it can help you either gather bots or research. Both of these things are vital to progress further in the game. The queen, at certain points in the game, can evolve into a larger being, providing more and more bonuses.Implants can be crafted and applied to the queen during the game to boost the queen's effects. ResearchResearching is completed by the queen once it is available. The queen must be set to research specific upgrades one at a time.
