Goblins attempt to break into your mine, while your walls and defensive units do all they can to keep them out.Mine Defense is an idle game set in a fantasy world where ants have unreasonable power and things get creepy fast. You start as a simple miner armed with a stick and build your way up to elaborate tools, magical allies, and more.DefensesThere are three methods of defense against the incoming hordes of goblins.WallsMagesBear TrapsWalls are the simplest defense, and are use to simply keep the goblins at bay. They will, however, eventually break through. Goblins can be manually killed by clicking them early game. The wall can be upgraded as the game progresses to increase the amount of damage it can handle.Mages provide an automated system to take care of defenses. They automatically attack goblins as they approach and can be purchased in high numbers. They reside within the wall to keep them safe as they attack from a distance.Bear traps prevent the goblins from approaching at all. They are timed, providing a short amount of protection.WorkersThere are a number of workers available to purchase, and each provides an automatic income of gold. IdlerLearn to Fly takes the standard incremental style and adds a more involved method of play. The game requires you to fire snowballs at objects at increasing distances with increasing amounts of health. Each destroyed object provides money that can then be spent on upgrading the cannon. The cannon can either be fired manually by clicking or, once the upgrade is purchased, automatically. The game requires the player to aim the cannon, and once set, the autofire continues to fire at the same angle as the last player initiated shot.ResearchThe player is awarded research points by performing simple tasks in the game. These points add up over time and can be spent on specialised upgrades, such as reducing the space between the player and the object or increasing the speed at which projectiles move. Research points are also awarded whenever an achievement is obtained.
