In Area Raiders you find yourself on the side of raiders trying to breach the Base defenses to save the aliens they kept in various government outpost! To defeat the base, you'll need to gain extra media attention to spawn more raiders rushing and train them well to proceed. Unlock special abilities of units so you can breach the “impenetrable” fortresses the government has built to keep us away…and don't forget to reveal the secrets to unlock new content and powers. Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. New upgrades become available, new options in the forge become available, and the missed secrets from the last level are lost and replaced with those of the new level. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. Once a stage has been passed, the secrets from that stage can no longer be found, thus the achievements attached to them are lost until the game is prestiged and the stage once again attained.LaboratoryThe laboratory can be used to gamble bots in the hope of achieving free bots in return. This works similar to a slot machine, and has a fairly balanced return rate. However, there is a chance that upon using the machine, a virus outbreak can occur.A virus outbreak gradually eats away at your bots. It is represented by a bot moving around the screen randomly.
