They reside within the wall to keep them safe as they attack from a distance.Bear traps prevent the goblins from approaching at all. They are timed, providing a short amount of protection.WorkersThere are a number of workers available to purchase, and each provides an automatic income of gold. They quickly become more and more expensive, making the later ones more efficient for their cost.In addition, there are workers that provide other effects. The mage, as above, kills goblins as they approach, while the craftsman ensure that any damage to the walls are mended.

Your goal is to survive, gather resources, build out the Junction Gate station, and keep your population alive and happy.StoryThe station is called Junction Gate, a colony seed that never fully blossomed. You see plans for mines, habitat modules, research facilities, and shipyards. From the looks of it, however, station construction ground to a halt shortly after it began, with no immediate indication of what went wrong with the assembly bots. The barren and dusty planet below is Ninevah, about half the size Earth was before the Burning.ResourcesAs you first start out, you'll need to quickly gather resources to survive. The resources can be viewed in the Resources Panel in the upper right of your screen. Each resource functions slightly differently, and some can even go negative, so it's important to keep an eye on them during all stages of the game.There are 7 resources currently available:OreHelium3AirFoodCreditsEnergyPopulationTo produce more resources, you'll need to construct various facilities appropriate for each resource.CommandThe Command tab is where you manage Junction Gate's personnel and policies. Much of this functionality won't be present until you build governmental facilities. Commanders each have different specialties and can only affect workers in their own department. You can only have up to four commanders at a time and they are assigned randomly as the story unfolds.Station personnel can be assigned to various departments in Junction Gate to supplement basic resource production. IdlerLearn to Fly takes the standard incremental style and adds a more involved method of play. The game requires you to fire snowballs at objects at increasing distances with increasing amounts of health. Each destroyed object provides money that can then be spent on upgrading the cannon. The cannon can either be fired manually by clicking or, once the upgrade is purchased, automatically. The game requires the player to aim the cannon, and once set, the autofire continues to fire at the same angle as the last player initiated shot.ResearchThe player is awarded research points by performing simple tasks in the game. These points add up over time and can be spent on specialised upgrades, such as reducing the space between the player and the object or increasing the speed at which projectiles move. Research points are also awarded whenever an achievement is obtained.
