It provides a simple interface comprised of a number of progress bars, each representing a different type of resource. The player must gather enough money to hire a number of workers to produce raw materials, then hire several more workers to sell products made of those materials. It's a careful balancing game designed to make you decide which resource is more important to make the biggest profit.The PremiseIn Progress Bars, your goal is to run an international conglomerate company and make oodles of cash. To accomplish this, you're gonna need some workers. But before that, you'll need some cold, hard cash.Making MoneyClick the Earn Money button to start generating income.Once you have enough money, buy your first Worker.Put this worker on wood-gathering duty by clicking the + button next to Wood.Watch! The worker will slowly gather wood, increasing your supply.Now get a few more workers and allocate them to Wood and Forest.You'll notice that Wood will get a 2x synergy bonus. This happens when you have some supply of Forest when your workers gather Wood.After a little while, you'll unlock Commodity Sales. Put some workers into sales.Every time the sales bar fills up, your workers will transport 50% of the supply of each resource into the sales warehouse.Next time when the sales bar fills up, your workers will sell 50% of the supply that is in the sales warehouse itself.Continue playing and see what you can discover!NodesThere are 4 different types of nodes:Biomes - like the ForestResources - like Wood and RubberSales - like Commodity SalesTools - like Cut ToolsQuadrantsThe game is divided into four quadrants. Each quadrant focuses on a specific Biome. The first biome to be unlocked is Forest.Each biome has two resources associated with it, and also receives bonuses from two types of tools.Synergy BonusesSynergy bonuses are awarded when you meet certain conditions. Invest money in more research points/second to speed it up.Vendors can be used to automatically sell items at the end of an item’s production cycle. You can distribute them in an item’s production detail panel next to the sell button.On the right side you see your current modifiers and active bonuses. You get a free bonus every 24 hours, so be sure to check back everyday. Some modifiers are also affected by permanent achievement advantages.In the top bar you can reset your game progress, which is the only way to advance to a higher level. When you do this, you will lose your current savings, your built production units and your researches., but you will keep all achievements, active bonuses, bought vendors and research point investments.You can reset the game at any time, but you will only advance to a higher level, when you earned enough points for the level. You get 1 point for each order of magnitude of your current money above your current level minus one (e.g. 1.0E12 and level 3: 12 – 2 = 10 points)

They will provide an income of bots, which can then be used to improve other aspects of the game.The QueenThe queen is important to gameplay in that it can help you either gather bots or research. Both of these things are vital to progress further in the game. ResearchResearching is completed by the queen once it is available. The queen must be set to research specific upgrades one at a time. Once they have been researched, they need to be manually activated before their effects are applied.EvolutionThis is a staging mechanic that allows you to progress through the game in set stages. Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. New upgrades become available, new options in the forge become available, and the missed secrets from the last level are lost and replaced with those of the new level. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. Once a stage has been passed, the secrets from that stage can no longer be found, thus the achievements attached to them are lost until the game is prestiged and the stage once again attained.LaboratoryThe laboratory can be used to gamble bots in the hope of achieving free bots in return. This works similar to a slot machine, and has a fairly balanced return rate. However, there is a chance that upon using the machine, a virus outbreak can occur.A virus outbreak gradually eats away at your bots. It is represented by a bot moving around the screen randomly.
