The player must gather enough money to hire a number of workers to produce raw materials, then hire several more workers to sell products made of those materials. It's a careful balancing game designed to make you decide which resource is more important to make the biggest profit.The PremiseIn Progress Bars, your goal is to run an international conglomerate company and make oodles of cash. To accomplish this, you're gonna need some workers. But before that, you'll need some cold, hard cash.Making MoneyClick the Earn Money button to start generating income.Once you have enough money, buy your first Worker.Put this worker on wood-gathering duty by clicking the + button next to Wood.Watch! The worker will slowly gather wood, increasing your supply.Now get a few more workers and allocate them to Wood and Forest.You'll notice that Wood will get a 2x synergy bonus. This happens when you have some supply of Forest when your workers gather Wood.After a little while, you'll unlock Commodity Sales. Put some workers into sales.Every time the sales bar fills up, your workers will transport 50% of the supply of each resource into the sales warehouse.Next time when the sales bar fills up, your workers will sell 50% of the supply that is in the sales warehouse itself.Continue playing and see what you can discover!NodesThere are 4 different types of nodes:Biomes - like the ForestResources - like Wood and RubberSales - like Commodity SalesTools - like Cut ToolsQuadrantsThe game is divided into four quadrants. Each quadrant focuses on a specific Biome. Each resource can receive several synergy bonuses:2x from the nearby Biome node2x from the nearby Biome node when that Biome has 80% supply or more2x from the nearby Tool node2x from the nearby Tool node when that Biome has 80% supply or moreThe maximum synergy bonus at the start of the game is 16x.Experience, Level, and Sales MultiplierEach node has a level. The level raises slowly over time as workers work there.When a Tool, Biome, or Resource node gains a level: 1) the unit price of the goods in that node go up, 2) your sales multiplier increases by 0.05x.When a Sales node gains a level: 1) the node gains 10 more max supply, 2) your sales multiplier increases by 0.10x.Your sales multiplier affects the sale rate of all of your resources, so improving it is critical to generating tons of money.

Every resource is required to improve housing or provide resources to produce other resources.50+ levels of production buildings per resource. Production buildings have a fixed cost, with an increasing cost and production per level. Upgrading buildings is not automatic: you decide whether to upgrade (at certain cost) the level, which will cost more incrementally, will need more workers and other resources and produce more.An advisor will hint to the next steps needed to grow the city.Housing generates income to buy more space. Space costs increasingly more, but is automatically bought. The newly acquired space can be used to build more housing or other buildings.Many different aspects of city happiness: unemployment, government, safety buildings to name a few. Every building will be able to facilitate a certain amount of population.Over 400 city achievements give small bonuses to city production.Multiple cities can be build, each with different starting conditions for production. Each city will trade with other cities and will contribute partly to a faster growth of other cities.Monuments are great structures in cities which provide a bonus to resource production for all cities. Monuments require significant resources and build over several steps.Cities will trade resources with all other cities, providing there is a surplus of the resource being traded in the city.
