They initially start the game with a fighter, a priest, a ranger, and a wizard, each with their own abilities and loot.The adventurers wander the world killing monsters and navigating dungeons automatically. It is up to the player to decide when and how to spend experience, upgrade an adventurer's equipment, and more.As adventurers gather experience, it can be spent on levelling up the adventurer. This opens up the abilities of that particular character, providing a new layer of strategy in the game.MonstersSimilar to the previous game, monsters populate the world and are a way for the player to gain better loot as well as experience. However, in this game, the monsters can wander through the map, attacking the player's characters as they like. This can lead to the player's characters running away, and removing them from battle.Monsters can now be upgraded to increase the chances of dropping rare items, more gold, more experience, and so on.LootItems that monsters dropped can be applied to characters to improve their abilities. These items are randomly generated and randomly dropped, meaning that many of the items may in fact be worse than the item currently being used. This is circumvented by providing the option of an auto-upgrade button that will automatically select the best items available and apply them to the character.Each character has a specific set of items unique to them. Each item in turn can only be applied to a single adventurer, meaning an item that might be good for one character, cannot be used by another.

You are required to create Bots, buy Factories, grow your Queen, perform Research, forge Implants, find Treasures, Evolve, and Prestige. Transcendence at stage 14 will bring a wormhole delivering free factories.Bots and FactoriesBots are the main currency of the game and, as with most incrementals, can be gathered manually or automatically through the construction of buildings. Buildings can provide a number of changes to bots, from giving more per manual click to more per automated click.The factories are just as important, providing a way to automate the process entirely. They will provide an income of bots, which can then be used to improve other aspects of the game.The QueenThe queen is important to gameplay in that it can help you either gather bots or research. Both of these things are vital to progress further in the game. The queen, at certain points in the game, can evolve into a larger being, providing more and more bonuses.Implants can be crafted and applied to the queen during the game to boost the queen's effects. ResearchResearching is completed by the queen once it is available. The queen must be set to research specific upgrades one at a time. These upgrades affect a number of different aspects of the game, from resources per click to automated resource production and more. Once they have been researched, they need to be manually activated before their effects are applied.EvolutionThis is a staging mechanic that allows you to progress through the game in set stages. Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. New upgrades become available, new options in the forge become available, and the missed secrets from the last level are lost and replaced with those of the new level. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. Once a stage has been passed, the secrets from that stage can no longer be found, thus the achievements attached to them are lost until the game is prestiged and the stage once again attained.LaboratoryThe laboratory can be used to gamble bots in the hope of achieving free bots in return. This works similar to a slot machine, and has a fairly balanced return rate.
