IdlerThis is a prototype of a three resource evolution based game. Your resources are gold, DNA, and creatures. The more creatures you have, the more gold you can produce. This balance is controlled by a slider, whereby you can balance the generation of creatures vs gold. DNA is produced whenever a creature mutates, and is handled randomly. It can be spent on upgrades that can change the course of the game in several ways.

Invest money in more research points/second to speed it up.Vendors can be used to automatically sell items at the end of an item’s production cycle. You can distribute them in an item’s production detail panel next to the sell button.On the right side you see your current modifiers and active bonuses. You get a free bonus every 24 hours, so be sure to check back everyday. Some modifiers are also affected by permanent achievement advantages.In the top bar you can reset your game progress, which is the only way to advance to a higher level. When you do this, you will lose your current savings, your built production units and your researches., but you will keep all achievements, active bonuses, bought vendors and research point investments.You can reset the game at any time, but you will only advance to a higher level, when you earned enough points for the level. You get 1 point for each order of magnitude of your current money above your current level minus one (e.g. 1.0E12 and level 3: 12 – 2 = 10 points)

Your assignment is constructing new habitats on extraterrestrial planets for the betterment of humanity. In this role you’re in charge of building and improving unique sectors of the habitats as well as managing off-world research departments dedicated to advancing humankind’s prosperity in the universe!Upgrade your planet’s sectors, install extensions, and perform system updates to advance humankind faster and further than ever before!You mostly do this via the bottom button on each sector. The upgrade multiplier button just to the right of the wealth bar at the top of the screen allows you to make improvements to each sector in bulk.The number on the specialist map panel indicates your current recruits. Request a planetary reassignment to convert them into specialists. Specialists always give an inherent output bonus, but can also be assigned to nodes in the specialist map, increasing your performance even further!The statistics panel can be a helpful tool in determining what sectors you might be interested in improving next. The bar chart is a normalized representation of the output per second of each sector. The smallest being the lowest per second, the largest being the highest per second, and all the other proportionately in between.Clicking the cog icon in the upper-left corner will open the settings menu. Territories have a number of different levels of occupation, each providing a different quantity of cash once completed. Each territory also provides automatic income at regular intervals once it has been obtained.Yellow territories are occupied by aliens and must first be cleared before they can be built upon. Each of these combat situations takes into account the player's attack and defense values and with each click, runs a combat simulation. If the player's health reaches 0, attack, defense, and recover are temporarily reduced to 0. The player must wait for these to return before attacking again. Once an enemy has been attacked, their health will regenerate over time.CashCash is rewarded with each time an unoccupied territory is levelled up, and a smaller amount at regular intervals thereafter. Cash can be spent on buying upgrades that affect attack strength and defense level.LevellingThis is done automatically when the player collects enough XP. Once a level has been achieved, the player receives points that can be spent on attributes. The attributes are assigned at the right of the screen using the + buttons next to the three lines. The five available are Life, Attack, Defense, Recovery, and Cost.Action PointsActions can only be performed when the player has enough points to spend on performing them. These can be seen in the purple bar on the right of the screen. Each action takes a number of points to perform, and these points are returned at a rate determined by the recovery score of the player.
