New Idle Games
Save the universe!… Or destroy it!The game starts by allowing you to gather a single resource, but quickly expands on that, providing new buildings, resources, and more. There are a range of options to take in the game, offering 9 different endings.ResourcesThere are a number of resources available to collect:ScrapsGoldGarnetCrystalsMineralsPerksEach resource can be used to purchase different things providing different bonuses. Perks, for example, can be applied to improve the chances of getting item drops on the main screen, thus gradully removing the need to click for resources. A simple incremental with combat added in, Mine Defense takes the basic gather resources to ridiculously high numbers and implements a simple combat system. Goblins attempt to break into your mine, while your walls and defensive units do all they can to keep them out.Mine Defense is an idle game set in a fantasy world where ants have unreasonable power and things get creepy fast. You start as a simple miner armed with a stick and build your way up to elaborate tools, magical allies, and more.DefensesThere are three methods of defense against the incoming hordes of goblins.WallsMagesBear TrapsWalls are the simplest defense, and are use to simply keep the goblins at bay. They will, however, eventually break through. Goblins can be manually killed by clicking them early game. The wall can be upgraded as the game progresses to increase the amount of damage it can handle.Mages provide an automated system to take care of defenses. They automatically attack goblins as they approach and can be purchased in high numbers. They reside within the wall to keep them safe as they attack from a distance.Bear traps prevent the goblins from approaching at all. They are timed, providing a short amount of protection.WorkersThere are a number of workers available to purchase, and each provides an automatic income of gold. They quickly become more and more expensive, making the later ones more efficient for their cost.In addition, there are workers that provide other effects. The mage, as above, kills goblins as they approach, while the craftsman ensure that any damage to the walls are mended. This game provides a graphically pleasing and mechanically broad experience. There are a wide range of options available to the player, secrets, achievements, and more. You are required to create Bots, buy Factories, grow your Queen, perform Research, forge Implants, find Treasures, Evolve, and Prestige. Transcendence at stage 14 will bring a wormhole delivering free factories.Bots and FactoriesBots are the main currency of the game and, as with most incrementals, can be gathered manually or automatically through the construction of buildings. Buildings can provide a number of changes to bots, from giving more per manual click to more per automated click. The factories are just as important, providing a way to automate the process entirely. They will provide an income of bots, which can then be used to improve other aspects of the game. The QueenThe queen is important to gameplay in that it can help you either gather bots or research. Both of these things are vital to progress further in the game. The queen, at certain points in the game, can evolve into a larger being, providing more and more bonuses.Implants can be crafted and applied to the queen during the game to boost the queen's effects. ResearchResearching is completed by the queen once it is available. The queen must be set to research specific upgrades one at a time. These upgrades affect a number of different aspects of the game, from resources per click to automated resource production and more. Once they have been researched, they need to be manually activated before their effects are applied.EvolutionThis is a staging mechanic that allows you to progress through the game in set stages. Each evolutionary form represents a new level in the game. New upgrades become available, new options in the forge become available, and the missed secrets from the last level are lost and replaced with those of the new level. Evolution is performed by researching the required upgrade (Evolution: Stage X), then activating it. An "Evolve" button presents itself, which enables the player to move on to the next stage.Once evolution is complete, the queen must once again grow to 100% before researching can be started again.SecretsScattered throughout each stage are a number of secret, clickable objects. Each of these provide a small to moderate once off bonus to bots. Once a stage has been passed, the secrets from that stage can no longer be found, thus the achievements attached to them are lost until the game is prestiged and the stage once again attained.LaboratoryThe laboratory can be used to gamble bots in the hope of achieving free bots in return. This works similar to a slot machine, and has a fairly balanced return rate. However, there is a chance that upon using the machine, a virus outbreak can occur.A virus outbreak gradually eats away at your bots. It is represented by a bot moving around the screen randomly. To dismiss the outbreak, the player must click on the bot floating around the screen enough times that it disappears.External LinksChange Log This game provides the ability to create a civilisation from the ground up. You are required to provide your population with basic resources, housing, advanced buildings, upgrades, and more. The ultimatum to the game is to build a wonder, and worship a god, then to start over, attempting to gain the effects of all the wonders together.ResourcesThere are a number of resources available to use.FoodWoodStoneSkinsHerbsOreLeatherPietyMetalGoldFood, wood, and stone are the basic building blocks of CivClicker. They allow buildings to be constructed and workers to be fed. These resources can either be manually collected by clicking or automatically collected by hiring workers to do so. It is a balance however, to ensure that workers have enough food to continue to work on the jobs that they are assigned without dying.Skins, herbs, and ore are randomly collected when gathering the above resources. They have a chance of being found, which can be upgraded later, and are used for more advanced things. Some are spent on higher tier buildings, while others are used for upgrades. Skins and ore, for example, can be converted into leather and metal by the appropriate workers and used on even higher tier purchases.Piety works a little differently, and is gathered by worshipping gods. Piety can be used for a number of upgrades and for constructing wonders (where all resources are required). All resources are intertwined to ensure that a careful balance is required amongst all of them to make the civilisation grow.Gold cannot be collected normally, and must be gathered through the use of the trade system. Traders will randomly arrive asking for a certain resource and will reward you 1 gold per transaction. They only remain for a short time, so gold is very scarce early game. It can, however, be used to speed up wonder construction, drastically reducing the amount of time it would normally take to build one.SicknessWorkers can get sick, and unfortunately, sick workers don't work. They can be healed, however, by using apothecaries and herbs. Each apothecary heals a number of workers per second, assuming that enough herbs are present. If workers remain sick, they can start to cause a problem, as the infection can spread and remove workers from harvesting food. If this happens, food production can dip, and the population are quickly starving to death.Dead bodies, if not quickly taken care of through the use of cemetaries, can quickly become a problem. Sickness can spread, and the population will quickly get angry, lowering their production.CombatSoldiers can be hired by providing them with the appropriate resources. Note that soldiers still consume food, and should still be considered when calculating food requirements. Soldiers can either be stationed in the civilisation or in the army. Their location affects how they affect the game.Soldiers in the city will defend against attacks. This includes wolves and barbarians.Soldiers assigned to the army will not defend against raids. These soldiers can only be used in raids against other civilisations. Raids can return happiness to your people or even a stash of resources. Note that siege engines cannot be moved out of the army.External LinksFAQWikiSubreddit Kittens Game is a text-based incremental/idle village simulation browser game. The player is required to hire workers to gather resource and meet specific goals for each location.ExpandingOnce a location has been completed, a new location will be opened up, with new requiresments to complete it. Finally, once a location has enough of a particular size, it will expand into a larger type. Enough hamlets, for example, will become a village. Enough villages, and it will expand into a town. This pattern continues as the player progresses. It should be noted that once a village has been unlocked, a second village will appear beneath it, with a hamlet contained inside of it. The hamlets for this new village must be completed before the villages can then be combined into a town. This pattern continues.Resources and UpgradesThere are a number of resources available, limited to the type of location that the player is working in. This game is a little different from the average clicker. You are a shark in an ocean with the option to catch fish. Once you have caught enough, your options expand to allow you to hire more sharks, gather new resources, and eventually travel to a strange new ocean to start over again.More end-game options, prestige balancing, and general bug fixes have been implemented in the latest release. Bonfire takes the incremental style and adds a cooldown multiplier to the mix. The idea of the game is to stoke a fire by clicking to produce CO2. This resource can be spent on items to automate the production of CO2 and upgrade other in game elements. The game rewards clicking by adding a temperature indicator. Each click increases the temperature, the higher the temperature, the higher the multiplier. If the player stops clicking, the multiplier will steadily drop.
